Each OmniLine array is constructed by connecting together multiple array modules. Up to 32 modules can be connected where both high output and vertical focusing down to low/mid frequencies are required. A smaller number of modules — down to four — can be used for shorter-throw applications where vertical focusing of the low/mid frequencies is less critical. The OmniLine module consists of two 3.5-inch reflex-loaded, low/mid radiators located on either side of a central strip of five 14mm high-frequency devices in a unique, patent-pending arrangement. The horizontal coverage angle is 100 degrees at the -6 dB points. Vertical coverage is specifically tailored to the venue by the intelligent optimization software. Each four-module array has a U.S. list price of $2,599. Visit martin-audio.com, or call 519-747-5853. MATRIX SWITCHER AMX expands its AutoPatch mix-and-match matrix switcher line — the Optima Series — with the addition of a new 8x8 DVI board. The board routes and distributes eight, high-resolution computer DVI signals to eight displays — all while maintaining a true, digital signal. It supports resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 and includes features that simplify the complexity of DVI integration, such as cable equalization and signal re-clocking, which allows it to support cable distances up to100 feet and beyond. The Optima 8x8 DVI board can be mixed with other Optima Board options — including RGBHV, composite, S-Video, component, SD-SDI, and HD-SDI, as well as analog and digital audio — in a 2RU or 3RU Optima Matrix Switcher Enclosure. The Optima line supports multiple control options, such as AMX NetLinx, RS-232, TCP/IP, and frontpanel and other third-party control systems. U.S. list price is $4,995. Providing an added level of versatility when integrating Crestron dimmers and lighting solutions, the CLSEXP modules enable the Crestron iLux integrated lighting system and other Crestron lighting dimmers to handle more load types, a wider range of voltages, and larger loads, according to the company. The CLS-EXP-DIM (shown) allows each output channel of the iLux system to dim a fully loaded circuit of incandescent, magnetic low-voltage, neon/cold cathode, or dimmable 2-wire fluorescent lighting loads up to 16 amps. The CLS-EXP-DIMU universal dimmer model supports electronic low voltage (ELV) commonly found in recessed lighting. Additional models support 3- and 4-wire dimmable fluorescents, as well as switching for non-dimmable lighting and motors. MSRP ranges between $300 and $400, not including cost of installation or programming. Visit www.crestron.com, or call 800-380-2580. DISPLAY MOUNTS Peerless Mounts announces the availability of its new IM760PU in-wall mount, which provides a virtually no-profile look while allowing flexible articulating functionality. Peerless’ in-wall mounts install between 16-inch wood stud centers and incorporate innovative stud-locating tabs that adjust 1/4 inch to accommodate irregular stud spacing, allowing a simple one-person installation. Removable plates with built-in electrical outlet receptacles and cable access knockouts simplify running cords and electrical wiring. When mounted, the flat panel screen can rest flat against the wall or extend up to 19 inches to allow viewing from virtually anywhere in the room. Pre-assembled and ready to be installed, the IM760PU in-wall mount is compatible with virtually all screens ranging in size from 32 inches to 60 inches. Mounting a flat panel screen flush against the wall is as easy as cutting out the space for the box. IM models are available in high gloss black and high gloss silver colors, and range in price from $179 to $669.
