This year seems less about the “next big thing” and more about making sure last year’s big thing is even better. I’ll be on the lookout for tools that make production and post easier and more efficient. I’m also on a quest for a good studio mike that’s affordable, and I’d really like to evaluate the new wave of non-CRT professional monitors from companies like Sony.
