This year at IBC, 3D was also hot, with Robert Zemeckis as Hollywood’s representative. Quantel introduced stereoscopic post systems to provide real-time 3D editing and color correction. Vince Pace, of Pace Technologies, showed stunning examples of 3D work shot with the camera rigs his group has designed. 3ality Digital Systems and Real D showed off their Amsterdam.
