AES NYC and Beyond
Here we are again, gathering for AES in New York City, and the excitement is electric as we all descend upon the Javits Center. Personally, AES is one of my favorite times of the year, as the whole audio industry convenes in one place to share, teach, and learn what is new in audio and celebrate the things that have been accomplished in the last year. Again, GC Pro is here in full force with a booth highlighting some of the products that we exclusively distribute in the U.S., such as the Neve Genesys console and the Ocean Way Monitor system. This convention holds particular significance for us at GC Pro, as we are beginning to wrap up what has been a truly banner year. We have been celebrating our 10th anniversary throughout this year as we continue to grow our organization. Many of our new initiatives designed to serve our clients are taking root, most notably our GC Pro Technical Services and Affiliate Services programs. Our website (gcpro.com) continues to evolve as well, featuring fascinating installation profiles, sweepstakes product giveaways, and a very exciting news and blog section (guitarcenterprofessional.blogspot.com). Our print periodical Audio Solutions, which you’re reading now, is in its second year of publication and has emerged as a trusted resource and a must-read throughout the industry. These are just a few of the ways GC Pro has broadened its scope in this anniversary year. Next year will see continued expansion activity, with GC Pro Technical Services offices slated to open in New York and Nashville, and our existing GC Pro offices strengthening with an expanded sales force. As we move forward, our goal is simple: we are firmly dedicated to providing the absolute best in services, customer support, and breadth of product. The reach of the Audio Engineering Society fits nicely with the reach of GC Pro. If AES is the organization through which the audio industry learns and grows, we want GC Pro to be the place where it gets its tools. Many of you already know GC Pro — take an opportunity to revisit us to say hello. Stop by our booth, stop in to a GC Pro office or visit our website. For those of you who are new to GC Pro, please come meet us in person and take a look at what we have to offer. I think you’ll like what you see.
