The room’s unique architecture, featuring a prevalent amount of stone and glass work, as well as a wooden pitched ceiling, presented several acoustical challenges. Auralex suggested several movable products as an efficient way to address the these issues while giving the space the flexibility to open up the sound and create a tighter, more modified sound, when needed; these included products from their StudioFoam, MAXWall, and MegaLENRD lines. Minnetonka Audio Software has announced that discWelder BRONZE now supports Microsoft’s Windows Vista. discWelder BRONZE is a DVD-A authoring application that supports all Linear PCM formats supported in the DVD-Audio specification, including surround (up to 6 channels of 24bit, 48kHz audio) and high-resolution stereo (two channels of 24bit, 192kHz audio).
