The drive was the Houston component to a statewide drive spearheaded by the Recording Academy Texas Chapter, Grammy Giving to the Gulf, sponsored by Gibson Guitars. The drive was kicked off at the membership’s Latin Grammy Celebration in Houston at House of Blues, with all proceeds from the event going to these efforts.
