Check out this first tutorial in the series. Google Docs is a Web-based word processor and spreadsheet application offered by Google. It allows you to create and edit documents and spreadsheets online while collaborating in real-time with others. You are able to upload documents such as Word, OpenOffice, and RTF files right into Google docs. You can also create documents from scratch. The application gives you many editing and formatting options while working on a document. Through the collaboration option, you can invite others to edit or view your documents. You also have the option to compare different versions of a document that have been shared. Documents can be downloaded to your computer in a number of different formats.
