Here are some quick thoughts that she collected from attendees: Sharing science video ideas with teachers at NECC. Not to worry. Here’s a guide to accessing the great sessions, materials, vendors from NECC08. The first thing you want to do is become an ISTE member. You can register to access the site without this, but ISTE members get discounts to NECC09, in Washington, DC. I was able to listen to Dean Shareski and David Jakes and their One Hour Powerpoint presentation. Then, if I clicked on the link to the page where Jakes and Shareski explain their presentation, I find hyperlinks to Blog entries about their topic, the podcast channel, Jakes’ e-mail, and the URL where you can find the handouts. Exhausted yet? Sit back and watch the video’s that NECC08 was able to capture. You won’t want to miss out on the Webstreamed (video) sessions. For this, go to www.kzowebcasting. com/necc/, and just login—no registration. You will then be brought to the streaming page where you can leave notes and network. It will seem like it is live!
