This year, give your staffers a tool that will let them stop disciplining students and focus on teaching: classroom-management software. That way they’ll regain control of the classroom and be able to select what the students view and access. The classroom-management software products in this chart and sidebar have one thing incommon: They all allow the teacher to call the shots—as long as he or she is in the room. None of the products works in a distance-learning environment, because they are designed to work only over a LAN or WAN.
