studioDW was awarded the NEWH Top ID Award for 2014, based in
part, on its design work on the Emily Morgan Hotel and Embassy Suites
Oklahoma City projects. The firm is also working on GAGE, a midcentury modern lounge in Houston [shown].

president of marketing for DH
Hospitality Group, representing
its three separate divisions, DH

Justin David Textiles senior sales
associate Kristin Wolfe breathes
new life into ordinary objects with
her recent temporary installation,
commissioned by Scottsdale Public
Art for the Scottsdale Quarter
Mall. This form of "yarn-bombing"
turned several 20-foot-tall light
posts along Scottsdale Road into
temporary works of art entitled
"Urban Twist."

Chambers, a Baltimore-based
planning, architecture, and interior
design firm named Charlie Turner
director of interior design.
Monica Fuentes of Tai Ping
Carpet and Jorge Bernal of RTKL
are engaged (they met at South
Florida's annual bowling event).

Resources, recently joined the
American Atelier, Inc. sales team,
handling Minnesota, North Dakota,
and South Dakota.

Crypton Inc. has acquired NanoTex. Shelley Pawlus has joined
the the company as director of
outreach for the contract division.
Graven Images commissioned the
Quilted Wall in Preston Brook, UK,
to create bespoke quilted walling
for the new SSE Hydro Venue in
Glasgow. The company created 3D
felt paneling with large embroidery
stitched themed designs for the
Water and Wind VIP lounges.

American Hotel Register Company,
a supplier to the hospitality
industry worldwide, released its
276-page FF&E catalog, Inspired.

Springs Creative Products Group
has entered a partnership with
Mytex, and now has access to
more than 400,000 designs-
including fabric swatches, artwork,
and patterns- ranging from the
1800s to present day.

The Onyx Hotel, a Kimpton boutique hotel located in Boston near the TD
Garden (the venue for the Celtics and Bruins), is in the final stages of a
full renovation by Group One.
