Who's Who Johanna Malen, a multi-line rep in North California, has recently added Currey & Company for unique lighting solutions and OW Lee, domestically made outdoor furniture, to her portfolio of fine hospitality manufacturers. After 42 years in the Industry, Tina Lockwood has retired as president of All Sign Systems, Inc. in Phoenix. She is now playing hard with nine grandchildren and husband. From awards to promotions, see what your fellow NEWH members are up to The Carroll Adams Group is gearing up for yet another year of community service and contributions. Several team members served dinner at the Ronald McDonald House, the firm is assisting with the renovations of the Wadeview and Colonial Town Neighborhood Centers, and the group continues its efforts at the Coalition of the Homeless and the Family Center.  In other news, the firm now enjoys Yoga Thursdays, is working on multiple Marriott, Le Meridien, and Westin properties, and recently hired Shanna Fizer in accounting; Patti Krieger as project coordinator; Amy Johnston, who will be overseeing the OS&E department as a project manager; and Stacey Kirby and Christina Wendlek as project managers.  Adam Winig of Arcsine Architecture and his wife welcomed Max Simon on April 6th. Nat Coalson Fine Art + Design is now conducting market research for an innovative new system for displaying personalized guestroom artwork. Designers and property managers are invited to apply for participation in the pilot program commencing Summer 2014 by emailing Kim Swanson of KD Swanson announces the addition of Marquis Seating to her team of manufacturers.    Joelle DiBlasi is now Astek's Southeast territory sales representative.   Hospitality industry veteran Leslie Temples joins B Carpet by Burtco as vice president of sales and marketing. Eaton Fine Art, Inc. welcomes Barbara Azzinaro, Cohen Azzinaro Associates, LLC as its rep in Washington DC, Virginia, and Maryland. NEWH Northwest Chapter hosted its annual Bowling Membership Drive at the Garage in Seattle in January. Shown: The Wright Group's, Jim Wright and Michelle Protzeller; Source Direct's Wendy Mohr and Debbie Kroodsma. 6 Susan Crowder's 10-year-old grandson, Hudson Calixto, took first place this year in the Parada del Sol Fun Run, the world's largest Horse Drawn Parade in Scottsdale. Her son in law Adam Izzett took 3rd place. Resource3Northwest promoted Shayne Bratz to general manager in February. Interior Image Group recently completed renovations to the public spaces of the Homewood Suites by Hilton in Buffalo, New York, bringing the property into alignment with the brand's "Take Flight" program. The firm also finished Flavors the Buffet (shown) within the Harrah's Joliet Casino, and won Most Unexpected Design for its hotel lobby design at the 2014 HI Connect Design. IIG is a back-to-back award winner at the event winning Best Overall Vignette in 2013. Art Consultant Francie Kelley of Paragone Gallery completed two projects with Design Group Carl Ross at the helm: the Fess Parker Resort in Santa Barbara and Hyatt Carmel Highlands Inn in Big Sur.
