2015 NEWH Leadership Conference
Inspiring keynotes, informative sessions, and innovative
products marked the three-day event
Nearly 600 industry influencers gathered at the Fairmont Dallas
January 22-24 for the 2015 NEWH Leadership Conference. The
biennial three-day event is dedicated to providing industry
professionals and students with tools, insights, and resources to
take their companies and careers to the next level.
Th is year's event lived up to its name, "Dream Big, Become
Bigger," a nod to its Texas host city, proving to be the largest
Leadership Conference to date, drawing more than 150
exhibitors at the Product Showcase, and presenting a host of
industry experts-including keynote speakers Jeff rey Beers,
founder and CEO of Jeff rey Beers International, who shared his
career highlights and how he stays original in an ever-changing
industry; and Scott Gerber, principal and CEO of Gerber Group,
who discussed how he provides innovative nightlife experiences
and redefi nes the hotel bar.
A stellar lineup of panels-from creating a luxury experience
to chef-designer collaborations-helped educate attendees on
the ins and outs of the current industry, while the Hospitality
Design/NEWH Owners' Roundtable put attendees face-to-face
with hotel owners, operators, and executives in a rotating format.
And new during the Product Showcase, four manufacturers
were selected by NEWH's conference committee to exhibit
as "Innovator" booths. The companies-Concept Surfaces,
Crypton/Valley Forge Fabrics, Florida Seating, and JLF
Collection-displayed new product that was exceptional for its
