NEWH - Spring 2015 - 4

News

To the Top
NEWH has announced the fourth annual Top Interior
Designers list for 2015. Each chapter board is invited
to participate in the program that recognizes and
promotes the best firms in the industry.
"As one of the largest hospitality organizations with
a large designer membership, NEWH draws attention
from media, hospitality companies, and organizations
that feature design talent or access to current design
resources for promotions, shows, or magazine articles,"
says Trisha Poole, founder and president of Design
Poole Inc. and the creator of the Top ID program. "Top ID
allows our chapters to select the best to represent the
exceptional talent in their regions."
The honor is determined with consideration of a
firm's quality design work in the hospitality industry,
along with membership and support the firm has
shown toward its NEWH chapter.

The 2015 winners, by chapter, are:

"NEWH has been instrumental in our firm's
narrative," says Brooke Taylor, director of interiors at
Arcsine. "Not only am I a scholarship recipient and
board member, the 2013 Leadership Conference in San
Francisco brought [Arcsine principals] Adam Winig and
Daniel Scovill, and myself together, giving shape to the
combined interiors and architecture practice that is
thriving today."
"It's an honor to be recognized as a NEWH Top ID
firm, where the combination of passion, experience,
and talent is celebrated as integral to the creation of
truly amazing hospitality environments. Being a part
of this exclusive group further energizes our goal of
bringing beauty and balance to the built world," adds
Cuningham Group Architecture associate Stephanie
Thompson.
NEWH provides the list of the design firms from 18
chapters and four regional groups on a banner that is
displayed at all NEWH International events and offered
to the chapters to post during their events throughout
the year.
