Ashley Lighting started 2015 by collaborating with Carolyn Kinder International on new lighting designs for its
hospitality division. "We're particularly enthusiastic about her vision for consistently creating well-received pieces,"
says vice president of sales Ron Smith.
When it comes to promoting such partnerships, Ashley Lighting depends on networking through NEWH, the
industry's leading resource. "It makes all the difference in the world to have NEWH backing the businesses that
make up the hospitality market," says Smith.

At HD Expo this year, Durkan debuted 10 new collections, including Existence, Lakir, and Modesto.
"The company's product offerings provide solutions for every part of the hospitality environment," says
Mark Page, Durkan's senior director of color and design. Durkan's products work seamlessly with hard
surfaces and Daltile's ceramic options, he adds.
While the company continues to offer a variety of solutions, it's also innovating with Definity
Technology, which replicates the durability and look of Axminster. And its "aggressive initiatives in sustainability" include adding Declare labels to all its
products, which "provide a clear ingredients list for building products and a quick assessment of whether or not the product is free of red list materials,"
Page says.
Corporate participation and involvement with NEWH is key in helping the industry prosper. "NEWH plays a major role in providing corporations and
industry professionals a channel to feed back to the community, encourage our youth to grow, and maintain a strong talent base from which innovation
can flourish," Page adds.

Fabricut started the year off by partnering with the design team at Wynn Resorts to complete delivery
of more than 125,000 yards of fabric for the Wynn Cotai project in China, and the company continues
to add to its roster. "With the increased interest in printed fabric, we've made customizing any of our
exclusive patterns easier," says Fabricut vice president Matt DeShantz. "We've also instituted new
policies within our organization establishing new pathways to creating designer inspired prints from concept."
In addition, the company is providing high-quality, low-impact, and sustainable fabrics to the industry while maintaining quality of service and
offering a wide range of options to the design community, he says.
But it's the company's work with NEWH that stands out by bringing the design community together. "There is no other organization that works to
join manufacturer, educator, and student as well as NEWH," he says. "As a NEWH Benefactor, we value our relationship and work hard to nurture and
support the growth of the next generation of designers. NEWH facilitates this growth and appreciates its supporters as much as we appreciate them."

ISG closed out a busy and successful 2014 with a big accomplishment: The company worked on the installation of more
than 700 pieces of artwork for Levi Stadium, home of the San Francisco 49ers. In addition, ISG's work and partnership
with HI Connect was fruitful, with the company providing services that included full-scale construction services from
wallcoverings, carpet and tile, artwork, bathroom fixtures, and casegood installations.
ISG is celebrating its 10th year as a leader in providing FF&E and logistics solutions to the industry. "Continuing along
that path and in response to client demand, ISG will launch a full-service renovation and general contracting division
through our sister company, RSG-the Renovation Service Group," says company president Thomas Murray.
"We find opportunities and doors open with confidence based on our relationship with NEWH," says Murray. "In addition, we are honored to
participate and support the benefi ts of the scholarship program for students of the industry. My daughter Morgan Murray was a recent recipient and I
could not be prouder of her accomplishments and the association."
