It's been a busy year at Delta, which launched a couple new collections this year, including the Essa kitchen
collection and the Tesla bath collection. In addition, Delta Faucet Company is growing, with a $17.5 million
expansion of its Carmel, Indiana headquarters. "The five-story campus addition will house more than 200
employees and support the company's ongoing commitment to growth," says Heather GeRue, channel
marketing manager.
To meet consumer needs, Delta conducts extensive ethnographic research to identify consumer habits and behaviors, and the design team travels
the world scouting trends and gleaning insights to bring into consumer homes and hospitality spaces. "These approaches to research and design help
set apart our offerings," explains GeRue.
Delta continues to focus on its sustainability efforts, as well. Delta Faucet Company has earned a 2015 Sustained Excellence Award from WaterSense,
continuing its efforts to make water-efficient practices more available to reduce water usage.
Indeed, working with NEWH has strengthened the company. "Strong, sustained relationships with hospitality professionals are critical to our [brand's
growth], and we know NEWH provides great value, reach, and partnership for Delta," she adds.

Lexmark's acquisition of Northwest Hospitality Carpets has enhanced design capabilities, product offerings,
and customer-service experience. "We plan to have the integration complete by the end of 2015," says Jennifer
Wellman, director of architecture and design solutions. "Everyone is working extremely hard to make this as
seamless as possible and to ensure that our clients still have the same excellent service we are known for in
the carpet industry."
Moving forward, the company plans to improve manufacturing capabilities. With the integration of
Northwest, "we are now expanding by adding machinery to our yarn extrusion and twisting and heat-setting department. This will increase yarn
manufacturing by 20 percent," Wellman says. Seven tufting machines have also been added, as well as a bigger warehouse and a new innovation
center to increase proficiency in carpet design and manufacturing. "The result is faster lead times at lower costs," she says. In 2016, the company will
introduce the Color Tron 12-color tufting machine, which will increase public space design and manufacturing capabilities.
"NEWH is very important to Lexmark + Northwest," Wellman says. "NEWH and its chapter members provide support to the design community through
scholarship, mentoring, education, and networking. There is a true bond between its members, not only on the chapter level but the national level too.

With the launch of its new website, Mandy Li Collection is the resource designers have been looking for.
"The design library was created to help inspire designers," says Tim Greeson, vice president of national
sales, while the finishes library "allows designers to easily specify for their projects." In the spring, the
company debuted its Finishes Sample Swatch Book, a marketing tool that acts as a great hands-on
resource for designers. "We plan to expand [it] in 2016," he adds.
The Mandy Li team is also growing, with 24 sales representatives on staff, including Greeson, Evan
Shatz, and Barbara Azzinaro. This is part of the company's strategic plan to "stand out in a competitive marketplace," Greeson says. "We strive to
provide the best to our clients when it comes to cost, lead time, deliverables, and customer service."
NEWH has reinforced the company's capabilities, providing a great community to bring in new talent through scholarships. "Mandy Li Collection
attributes our growth from the networking and business development resources that NEWH provides," Greeson says. "We are looking forward to
continuing to be a corporate partner of NEWH and its events because they increase our brand awareness, provide growth opportunities for Mandy Li
Collection, and globally support our industry."

To deal with shorter lead times, P/Kaufmann Contract has launched a website where designers may now
search all product categories to find piece goods with a shorter delivery time. In addition, the company
launched several exciting collections this year, including the Urban Expedition collection, the Naturally Sheer
book, and its High Plains collection, which is Oeko-Tex certified. Textiles with this certification have been
proven to remain below set limit values for harmful substances.
The company considers NEWH an organization as dynamic and relevant today as it was when it started. P/Kaufmann enjoys being a part of the
community it has created and looks forward to a successful year in 2016.
