Short Takes NHPCO’s Regulatory Team: Answering Your Questions in Person Many NHPCO members are feeling overwhelmed, given the volume of new and changing federal regulations and the fact that this “is” the new norm. Rest assured, the NHPCO Regulatory team hears you. Since the first of the year, the team has personally responded to more than 3,312 calls and emails through Regulatory Assistance and has held the first of two NHPCO Webinars on “Hot Topics.” The Regulatory Center (www.nhpco.org/regulatory) is another helpful way to get timely information. For example, all Regulatory Alerts that are issued by email are also posted on the Center. They are listed in chronological order and include links to relevant resources for quick and easy access. Still, sometimes nothing beats a live presentation and the chance to pose your questions in real-time. With this goal in mind, Judi Lund Person, vice president of Compliance and Regulatory Leadership, and Jennifer Kennedy, director of Regulatory and Compliance, are presenting at state conferences around the country. By the end of this year, they will have traveled to 21 states, reaching nearly 4,000 members (as noted in the map below).
