NI New Products, Volume 2, 2008 - (Page 5) Fastest NI Bus-Powered Devices for USB Stream with Superior Accuracy and Faster Sampling Rates These NI M Series data acquisition devices for USB provide 16 channels of 400 kS/s analog input; expanded digital capabilities; optional isolation; and 68-pin SCSI mass termination, screw terminals, and OEM connectivity. The NI USB-6212 and USB-6216 devices incorporate advanced power management, eliminating the need for external power, and NI signal streaming technology for multiple, bidirectional, high-speed data streams over USB. The devices feature 34- and 50-pin IDC connectors respectively for easy PCB mating or for use with ribbon cables. Two 250 kS/s outputs with 16-bit resolution, two 32-bit counters, and 32 bidirectional 5 V TTL digital lines 60 V optional CAT I isolation for protection against transient voltages, improved noise immunity, and ground-loop removal Visit ni.com/dataacquisition/usb USB Digitizers/Oscilloscopes, Multimeters The lightweight NI USB-5132 and USB-5133 digitizers/oscilloscopes and NI USB-4065 61⁄2-digit digital multimeter (DMM) feature bus-powered, plug-and-play operation ideal for benchtop and OEM applications. The new instruments include: 50 and 100 MS/s sampling with two simultaneously sampled channels with 8-bit resolution A DMM with 61⁄2 digits of resolution at up to 10 readings per second or 3,000 readings per second at lower resolutions NI Measurement Studio 8.5 for Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Measurement Studio adds test and measurement functionality to the latest Microsoft Visual Studio development environment with a complete set of .NET class libraries, tools, and NI-DAQ driver support for Visual Studio 2008. Reduce deployment costs by adding functionality to existing projects without upgrading to a new .NET framework. Measurement Studio 8.5 also offers: ASP.NET AJAX compatibility to create responsive remote monitoring Web applications Memory-optimized analog waveform read operations in the NI-DAQ and NI-SCOPE .NET drivers USB RF Power Meter The NI USB-5680 RF power meter offers highmeasurement accuracy and wide dynamic range in small packaging with new capabilities for portable instrumentation. It also delivers better than ±0.18 dB of linearity from -40 to +23 dBm and from 50 MHz to 6 GHz and a full-featured executable soft front panel for API programming. High-Accuracy USB Data Acquisition Devices NI USB-6281/89 devices feature an 18-bit ADC, providing a 4X increase in resolution over 16-bit devices, and incorporate the NI-PGIA 2 custom amplifier and NI-MCal self-calibration for accuracy of 980 µV at ±10 V and 28 µV at ±100 mV at a sampling rate of 625 KS/s. New Portable USB Digital I/O Device The NI USB-6509 device offers programmable power-up states, digital I/O watchdogs, change detection, and programmable input filters that block digital noise, glitches, and spikes. The 96-channel device is bus-powered and includes pull-up/pull-down resistors. http://www.ni.com/dataacquisition/mseries http://ni.com/dataacquisition/usb http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/201587 http://www.ni.com/mstudio/ http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/204499 http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/204864 http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/205180
