We started a shoe company last season, making better shoes at lower prices, so the retailer can have more margin.With times so hard we thought that the retailer and shop owner should be able to sell our skate shoes for less than $65 and still have a 50- to 65-percent margin after it is all said and done. Most shoe styles are from $20 to $25 wholesale. Our skateboards are mostly completes. We do sell trucks and boards separately; they retail from $40 to $80 and with the same philosophy as the footwear side of at least a 50-percent margin. We have pro skaters on board, so we offer signature boards, signature shoes and a few fashion casual styles.We now have sandals also: We offer Gordon & Smith sandals.
