Fall 2008 is no exception. At the center of the DC brand stands the Signature Models. Designed, developed and tested by DC’s pro team, these shoes are the measure of DC’s footwear progression. For fall 2008, DC introduces the Smith 2.0, the latest Signature Model by Ryan Smith. Smith designed the model, hand sketching early concepts to his exact specifications. Evolving from his previous pro models, the Smith 2.0 shares similar stitching details and incorporates Super Suede™ Plus and the Performance Wrap Rubber Cup Sole, a new technology that provides superior cushioning, comfort, fit and board feel in an extra durable, vulcanized look. Smith looked to incorporate some of his own art inspirations and collaborated with legendary skate graphic artist Jimbo Phillips to create custom designs for the shoes’ insoles, shoe box,T-shirt, sweatshirts and sticker pack. The Smith 2.0 will be available to select skate shops worldwide. DC has developed its footwear program for fall 2008 with expanded men’s, women’s, kids, toddlers and Life collections. As DC footwear has expanded so has the DC brand, growing to include a full range of men’s, women’s and kids apparel, accessories, snowboarding boots and outerwear.
