Johnson & Johnson focused on global reporting integration in 2007. American Express serves as its consolidated agency worldwide, and about 70 percent of U.S. air bookings were completed through Amex’s CTO tool. This year, J&J plans to roll out a global reporting package. The company continued its rollout of hotel sourcing for its meetings last year and dedicated meeting staff. Company travelers increased advance purchase use last year, and J&J intends to continue that push for air and hotel programs this year. Other goals include increasing preferred supplier use and exercising demand control. J&J also is reviewing and is considering tightening travel policy. American Express also is J&J's corporate card vendor of choice both inside and outside the United States, and travelers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa use a Citibank-issued Visa corporate card.
