1. Coalesse: Massaud Work Lounge with Canopy
coalesse.com
Reader Service No. 222
"We're hoping to get great use out of this chair,
with its height-adjustable swivel tablet. It is
ergonomically fit for use as a guest chair and
comfortable enough for watching television.
I like the possibility of using it in public areas
with its cool hood that has built-in lighting and
hands-free support for mobile devices to aid in
video conferencing."

2. Global Views: Urchin Lamp
globalviews.com
Reader Service No. 223
"With all the modernity and minimalism around us,
sometimes I need a touch of the familiar. This table
lamp, with its spikey urchin forms, adds a sculptural
element to make an interior feel welcoming. The
lamp comes in white, and I also like it with a black
shade, which lends a library-esque look."
3. Michele Varian: Brass Aperture Pendant Lamp

"This NYC shop has such a great collection of
different things-not quite vintage, but not overly
modern. The Brass Aperture Pendant Lamp strikes
the right balance between handcrafted and
machined with it slightly worn patina. It makes a
strong statement without overshadowing anything
else in its midst. The fact that it is adjustable is icing
on the cake."
4. Lasvit: Twill
lasvit.com
Reader Service No. 225
"Lasvit represents a new breed of custom light
fixture designers who aren't afraid to go beyond
the typically styled pendant fixtures. For Twill,
Lasvit designer Tana Dvorakova used glass and
crystal as a medium of expression, not just as
a unit of light refraction."
