As the largest annual tradeshow for the store design, visual merchandising and in-store marketing industries, GlobalShop features six market-focused pavilions—The Store Fixturing Show, The Visual Merchandising Show, At-Retail Marketplace, Store Design & Operations, The Digital Store and Retail Marketing Services. This year, the show will kick off with the GlobalShop Opening Night Reception at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10. Sponsored by Leggett & Platt, the launch party will take place at Tao nightclub at The Venetian, and will offer attendees an unmatched networking opportunity. Tickets must be purchased in advance at www.globalshop.org. Also new to the show this year is “The Best of GlobalShop,” a new feature area of the show floor that will showcase standout products and services. Attendees will be able to vote for their favorites, and the winners will be featured online at www.globalshop.org after the show. There will be plenty of new products at the show, as GlobalShop will feature more than 50 new exhibitors this year, says Tim Fearney, show director, GlobalShop. “Every year I’m amazed at how many new exhibitors we have. Tradeshows are all about new products and new ideas, and we’ll certainly have them this year,” he adds. “I’m very impressed with how this industry has responded despite all the recent economic challenges. We have a very strong lineup of exhibitors this year, featuring more than 500 of the top suppliers in the industry.” The conference program, sponsored by Interbrand Design Forum, will feature exciting speakers and case studies, covering all facets of the industry. The conference program also features new value pricing of only $25 per session. “Our hope is that more of our audience discovers the benefits of our conference sessions, because it’s an aspect of GlobalShop that is so well received among those who take part,” Fearney says. “We’re expecting a full house for each of the three keynote sessions.
