At DDI, we are here to guide your path along the way, pointing out the must-sees and the can’t-misses that make GlobalShop the premier networking, educational and informational event of the year for the retail design industry. As the presenter of GlobalShop, DDI has its hands (and toes) dipped in many of the new innovations you will see at the show this year. We are thrilled that the show will expand our hospitality to our global visitors by offering an International Lounge for the first time, including a limited amount of both Portuguese- and Spanish-language conference sessions. With 17 percent of overall audience coming from outside the United States last year, it is wonderful to see GlobalShop taking strides to putting the “Global” back into its name. We look forward to meeting many more of our international visitors this year. Many may not realize that DDI is also responsible for the content of the GlobalShop conference program. We are excited to announce that Herb Sorensen, author of Inside the Mind of the Shopper and founder of TNS Sorensen, will be delivering our keynote address on Tuesday, April 16, at 8:30 a.m. Book your seat now, before we sell out! We are extremely pleased with our esteemed line-up of speakers this year, and are happy to be able to pass their knowledge and insights on to you. Attend a conference session (or three!) at this year’s show, and chances are you’ll see a DDI staffer introducing the speaker of the hour.
