This combination allows the consumer to use the product for three major tasks that normally require different products and supplies; baking, transporting and serving. The serving cover is designed to clip on the bake pan as a cover for storage or transportation. During transportation, the 100 percent melamine lid is tall enough to maintain the hard work the consumer put into the decorations. The benefits continue when the lid is inverted to provide for elegant serving. The serving cover can also be used as a separate serving tray. These functions replace the use of disposable food storage or food wrap in order to take baked goods to a function or a friend’s home. Additional features are the nonskid feet of the serving cover. These prevent sliding of the bakeware during preparation as well as when serving from the clipped baking pan. The serving cover is also suitable to hold ice underneath the baking pan in case the consumer wants to keep food cool at a function. The initial launch range of the Bake Porter™ line consists of six SKUs: Large Baking Pan, 12Cup Muffin Pan, 6-Cup Jumbo Muffin Pan, Rectangular Baking Pan, Loaf Pan and Round Cake Pan. Each SKU is available in red or grey nonstick coating with a white melamine serving cover with matching silicone corners. The line was designed by a European design firm with major input from a U.S. home economist. The Bake Porter™ is exclusively distributed by Reston Lloyd, Ltd.
