Troy Lighting Contract Division Shines Bright in Sagewood
Project Name: Sagewood, CCRC (Continuing Care Retirement Community), Phoenix, AZ Design Firm: Studio Six 5, Austin, TX Photography: Baxter Imaging Sagewood is the premier retirement community in Arizona, blending modern southwest aesthetics with global influences. This resort style CCRC provides state of the art amenities throughout the continuum of care.
Troy Lighting Contract Division was called upon by Studio Six 5, to take on the task of designing a variety of custom created lighting fixtures for the Sagewood Continuing Care Retirement Community. This included meeting the challenges of the architectural structures and engineering requirements of the project. Key contributions of Troy Lighting Contract Division included:
- Installation of a variety of custom created lighting fixtures including foyer pendants, fabric shade pendants and wall sconces, in various rooms and areas of Sagewood. - Development of a customized system to mount the fixtures on the building’s decorative structural beams. All fixtures installed in Sagewood were domestically manufactured by Troy Lighting’s skilled fabrication department and 150,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Southern California. - Providing Studio Six 5 the ability to not only precisely coordinate decorative finishes throughout the project, but also meet technical requirements including 277 line voltage and dimming ballasts.
