WHAT ELSE IS INTERBIKE DOING? • 100% Wind Powered Show – for the third year running, the Interbike Expo will be carbon neutral • Paper badges (soy ink printed on recycled paper) - replacing petroleum based badges • Recycled aisle carpet - reused at each Interbike Expo • Recycled booth carpet - offered to exhibitors in each service manual • Recycled cardboard from the show floor program • Yellow Bag recycling program – special bags provided to all exhibitors and sorted from regular trash • Increased electronic communication program to reduce amount of printed collateral • Organic food and biodegradable foodware at ODD West • Recycle bin dumpsters throughout ODD West Event and green teams collecting trash around the event for recycling • Promotion of the Carbon Offset Challenge for exhibitors and attendees wishing to reduce their environmental impact Through our Green Steps Program Interbike purchases renewable energy certificates to compensate for the energy required to operate the show.
