Editorial A Matter of Course In each issue of K+BB, in every posting on kbbonline, and through all of the brand’s initiatives—webcasts, videos, newsletter, professional networking—our goal is to provide you with the tools and techniques to successfully build and grow your business, strengthen your relationships and inspire your designs. In other words, to educate. Maybe you find new ideas you’ve yet to explore or revisit old ideas that need a boost—hey, we could all use a refresher sometimes—but either way, it is our sincere hope that when you pick up an issue of the magazine or visit us online, you’ll always learn something. But what if you could not just learn, but also earn credit for what you’ve learned? Sounds like a winning combination. Well, add a letter (U) to our already well-established acronym (K+BB) and what you get is K+BBU, as in university. That’s right, we’re very excited to be partnering with the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA), in addition to our already strong collaboration with them on the Kitchen/Bath Industry Show and Conference (K/BIS), to offer NKBA CEU-accredited online education courses to our audience of designers and architects. CEU-ACCREDITED ONLINE PROGRAM The courses will be available on a new portal, called K+BB University, which can be accessed via kbbonline.com. Similar to a webinar, the “student” must first register online. They will then view an hour-long presentation and listen to the pre-recorded audio track. At the conclusion of the program, the registrant will take a quiz. Passing students will receive CEU credit. Now, that’s easy! The first program will be available shortly. Sponsored by White River, this program will be free to qualified registrants and will cover molding design. Over the course of the year, we will be adding a number of new programs to the course list, so stay tuned for more details.
