The app designers have been waiting for. iStone
Marble Institute of America, the authoritative source for natural stone standards and education, and studiomarmo, the renowned Italian expert on natural stone graphic and web design, have announced the much anticipated release of iStone, a natural stone swatch application for the iPad that is available in the Apple App Store. iStone is presented in a beautifully rendered 3D environment and was designed to take advantage of the highresolution screen and advanced capabilities of the iPad tablet. The app presents images and technical information on over 1,000 natural stones from around the world, including a search function that allows the user to filter by stone type, color, country of origin and more. Also included is the ability to view stones in 3D and bookmatch format, as well as email capability to share images with clients, colleagues or friends.

Expansion of Fusion Line at Osborne Wood Products, Inc.
Due to the phenomenal response to the Fusion Leg Line at Osborne Wood Products, the line is being expanded! Fusion Legs represent a patent-pending design concept, creating a new leg style combining classical and contemporary aesthetics. The Solaris, a tapered leg with an oval metal element, and the Electra, a four-sided leg with a metal component at the knee and foot were the original Fusion Legs offered in 10 wood types and five metal finishes. The Walton Vanity and Walton Island Legs are two new Fusion Legs offered in 10 wood types. These members of the Fusion family combine two different styles of wooden legs with a 5-in. brushed nickel foot. The Walton legs combine the traditional wood turnings with modern brushed nickel for a transitional design, which is gaining traction in today’s design circles. A recent addition to the Fusion line is the Conway Fusion Leg, available in the standard island leg height of 34½ in. and widths of 2¾ in. and 3½ in. This Fusion Leg is modern all the way with simple, straight lines in the upper wooden component and a brushed nickel ball foot at the bottom. The bottom of the metal feet includes a glide that acts as a leveler. Metal feet are gaining popularity, especially in commercial settings where water damage is easy to incur. Currently, the metal components of the new Fusion Legs are being offered in brushed nickel and brushed aluminum only, but there is always room for additions!
