Frontino
by Häfele
Does this sliding door hardware represent the future of kitchen design? Perhaps. As one judge noted, with Frontino, “Häfele is on the cutting edge, as today’s kitchens are moving toward easier and wider access.” Conventional cabinet doors swing open, thus requiring more space, and can slam shut or be dif cult to use for those with physical constraints. Frontino features a single-track construction that enables cabinet doors to slide open with little effort and sit ush when closed, creating a continuous look. Circle No. 207
Neolith 10mm+
by TheSize
These ultra-large 49-in. x 145-in. x 3/8-in. porcelain slabs turned heads and sent minds racing when they were shown at Cevisama and again at KBIS. Suitable for use in both indoor and outdoor applications, they are waterproof and resistant to chemicals, heat and the abuse regularly in icted upon surfaces such as kitchen countertops. That the slabs come in a variety of nishes and colors, are made of natural materials and are recyclable makes a designer’s heart pound that much faster. Circle No. 208
