The Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) will collocate with the International Builders’ Show (IBS) for a mega-event known as Design & Construction Week, with more than 1,500 exhibitors in 600,000 square feet of shared exhibit space. “For the ﬁrst time ever, we are able to offer attendees an experience covering design and construction. It’s two shows with one pass,” said Brian Pagel, vice president, Kitchen & Bath Group. “KBIS will deliver on providing an engaging design, educational and innovative show experience. We look forward to sharing space with IBS and bringing an added beneﬁt to our attendees.” Design & Construction Week is going to be – in a phrase – a pretty big deal. It is being touted as the largest residential construction exposition in the U.S. in 2014. Launched by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA), the event is expected to bring 70,000 dealers, designers, showroom professionals, channel partners, remodelers and custom builders under one roof.
