KBIS SPECIAL SECTION At KBIS 2014, the Best of KBIS entries will be displayed via a largerthan-life product wall where attendees can catch a quick glimpse of them, scan a code to receive more information on their selections and then visit the brands' booths for a live viewing. Participating exhibitors will be recognized with specially designed "Best of KBIS Entry" signs in their booths. Exhibiting manufacturers at KBIS and shared accounts with IBS must submit their product nominations no later than Jan. 17, 2014, and the deadline to enter and be included in the KBIS Show Directory is Dec. 27, 2013. Members of the Modenus BlogTour Las Vegas will judge the competition, and criteria for the winners include functionality, quality/durability, ﬂexibility, aesthetics/style and innovation. Awards categories include Best in Show, Best of Kitchen: Gold, Best of Kitchen: Silver, Best of Bath: Gold and Best of Bath: Silver. Winners will be announced on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014, at 11:30 a.m., on Center Stage in the NKBA booth. The competition will also feature a People's Choice Award that will be voted on by attendees via the KBIS Mobile Ap during all three days at the show. The three People's Choice Award winners - ﬁrst, second and third - will be announced the week of Feb. 10, 2014. Innovation Booth Awards New to KBIS If your booth is going to prove your status as an innovator in the kitchen and bath industry through innovative designs and displays - as an exhibitor, you won't want to miss the opportunity to sign up for the ﬁrst-ever KBIS Innovation Booth Awards at KBIS 2014. Booths will be judged by a panel of reps from the NKBA, KBIS, Modenus BlogTour Las Vegas and 30 Under 30 alumni, and criteria include the "wow" factor, messaging, education, engagement and the unexpected and unprecedented. Aside from potentially winning an award for your KBIS 2014 booth, the pre-show and at-show beneﬁts include visits to your booth by the juried panel to be considered for inclusion on media tours, enhanced coverage via KBIS public relations and social media platforms, listings on KBIS.com and in the KBIS Directory as an entry and a callout in the KBIS mobile application.
