Learn about appliances, countertops, cabinet construction, mechanical systems, and measuring. The morning session will include a review of the NKBA Graphic and Presentation Standards. The afternoon session will provide an opportunity for attendees to practice their specific areas of concern. Take advantage of this last-minute practice session before the CKD/CBD exam held the following day. Learn basic product knowledge, kitchen planning skills, hand layout, and much more. You’ll have more confidence in client interviews, as well as the ability to design one-wall and L-shaped kitchens. Students will also learn how to select the proper fixtures, appliances, and cabinetry. Learn basic product knowledge and how residential plumbing systems work, while also developing bath planning and hand layout skills. You’ll develop the confidence and skills to interview a client, design a 5’ x 9’ bath, and specify proper bath fixtures.
