Since partnering with the foundation in mid-2007, Loews Hotels has raised more than $250,000 for Modest Needs, which assists people with unexpected emergency expenses and prevents them from entering the cycle of poverty. On May 20, the Aloha Chapter of Meeting Professionals International held an inaugural Awards Gala at the Royal Hawaiian Waikiki's Monarch Ballroom to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
