The property houses more than 24,000 square feet of event space, including three ballrooms, each larger than 4,000 square feet, and a 150-seat amphitheater. InterContinental Hotels Group in recent weeks opened the Crowne Plaza Milwaukee Airport, a $14 million conversion of the former Ramada Inn and Conference Center. The Adirondacks resort, located in Lake Placid’s shopping and entertainment district and on the shore of Mirror Lake, contains 10,000 square feet of newly renovated meeting space spread among 10 meeting rooms. The area can accommodate up to 800 guests. Meeting planners can house events in a 2,700-sq.-ft. ballroom or al fresco on the patio at the property’s Reflections Restaurant.
