Additionally, we introduce our new international design showcase feature which spotlights an area of the world and its unique products – this issue we start with the artisans of Tuscany. While in New York last November, I had the great pleasure of meeting Anna Perryman at the Gold Key Event. That first meeting has developed into a remote mentorship. You will read her passionate words about how NEWH has enriched her career development in design on page 37. Can you remember your first mentor? Although January was officially “National Mentoring Month,” it is never too late to take on the practice of mentoring someone in our industry. As I have found, it truly brings home a sense of what we are all about at NEWH.
