The photorealistic multidimensional rendering tool lets you drag and drop system components by such manufacturers as Haworth, Steelcase, and Teknion—and then does all the technical dirty work for you: calculating measurements, determining specs, adding hardware and support components, generating installations documents and bills of material, and much more. At NeoCon, the company unveiled a major enhancement that’s sure to delight existing users and entice new ones: cloud-based operation. Designer can now access files from anywhere—a home computer, a client’s office—via the Web portal MyConfigura. An interface similar to Facebook and Google Docs allows for file sharing and collaboration, too.
