Elkabetz covered a lot of ground. And a new
exhibit pays homage to her life and style by
showcasing more than 500 items from her
wardrobe. Her story is shown through 90
curated ensembles combining her clothes,
sets, sound designs, and video artworks,
alongside her cinematic, theatrical, and
artistic productions.
In 2008, Shepard Fairey went from rebel street artist to voice of social change with his iconic
(and controversial) Hope posters for then-U.S. presidential candidate Barack Obama. "Using
my art to channel my frustrations is the most constructive thing I can think of," Fairey
says in Obey Giant, a new documentary from Academy Award-winning filmmaker James
Moll and executive producer James Franco. Available on streaming service Hulu, the film
showcases his rise, his roots in punk rock and skateboard culture, and his
major influences, including visual artist Robbie Conal.

literary, historical, cultural, anthropological, philosophical, art
historical, political, and scientific.
