The study, conducted by Aberdeen Group, a Harte-Hanks Company, found 84 percent of organizations that achieved Aberdeen’s “Best-in-Class” status included a formal newhire training program in their onboarding process. What’s more, the findings show new employees who participate in onboarding achieve ideal levels of productivity quicker in their new positions. Titled “All Aboard: Effective Onboarding Strategies and Techniques,” the report is based on surveys and interviews with nearly 800 human resources, human capital, and business line managers.
