MWSS provides supply chain management activities for the B-2 Bomber performance-based logistics contract. This effort includes the management of two line-replaceable unit repair programs (interim contract support and contract depot maintenance), as well as the procurement, stock store and issue activities for B-2 unique consumables. The program also supports procurement and kitting efforts for the FA-18, Advanced Technology Development Center and F5/T-38 programs. Francisco Ramirez, MWSS quality assurance engineer, summed up the accomplishment for his teammates: “Achieving the certification was not a goal in and of itself, but now that we have it, our mission is to use it as a management tool to help us improve customer satisfaction, processes and staff development within our program.” TS ISO certification process team members. In addition, the Air Force had Lambert’s name placed on Global Hawk aircraft 02-2010, the flagship unmanned aerial vehicle for the 1st Reconnaissance Squadron, Air Force Formal Training Unit for all Global Hawk and U-2 training. “We’re very proud of her for this tremendous recognition,” said Bruce Jinneman, Global Hawk program manager at Beale. “She’s an exemplary performer and always gives her best in support of our men and women in uniform.” TS 6 Technical Services Magazine • Spring 2008
