TS will perform work at the command’s headquarters at MacDill Air Force Base, other U.S. locations and throughout the USCENTCOM area of responsibility. Under the JTSSO program, the Technical Services sector will provide assistance to military planners during the planning, execution and assessment of USCENTCOM’s battle staff, combined and joint training exercises and newcomer Staff Indoctrination Course (SIC). The SIC course hastens the integration of all incoming personnel (military, civilian, contractor and foreign nationals) by providing three days of lectures and computer-based instruction on the command’s mission, focus, structure, strategy, operational environment and staffing procedures. Additionally, the TS team operates and maintains the USCENTCOM Joint After-Action Reporting System. This includes management of the process of writing and collecting, reviewing, editing, analyzing and recommending disposal and dissemination of USCENTCOMapproved joint universal lessons learned. “This contract reinforces our credentials as the provider of choice in the exercise and training arenas and positions us to support the emerging requirements of our customer, the warfighter,” said David Townsend, Technical Services JTSSO program manager. “With the JTSSO award, CENTCOM has retained a skilled and proven exercise planning, training and joint lessons learned team with more than 65 years of cumulative experience.” TS 1 2 3 4 1 TS Awarded Digital Leader Development Center Contract The U.S. Army has awarded Technical Services a Digital Leader Development Center (DLDC) contract to develop and provide instruction for the U.S. Army Command General Staff College (CGSC) in Fort Leavenworth, Kan.
