SS systems suppOrt Technical Services Training Ranges Allow Naval and Marine Aviators to Hone Their Skills 1 eight states for the U.S. Naval Surface Warfare Command. The ranges, managed under the Combined Tactical Training Ranges contract, are located in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Nevada, Arizona and California. Program work involves engineering, operations and maintenance support and the integration of threat, instrumentation and communications systems at the 10 training ranges. In addition, TS personnel are responsible for bombing range maintenance at 11 air-to-ground ordnance facilities embedded throughout the ranges. TS T echnical Services manages 10 range complexes across 2 3 1 This long-range acquisition and height-finder radar system is stationed at Site 31 at MCOLF (Marine Corps Outlying Field) Atlantic. An F/A-18 refuels at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C. Senior Mission Coordinator Matt Davis runs a mission in the Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point Tactical Air Crew Training System theater.
