Technical Services - Summer 2008 - (Page 21) TS Team Members Contribute to Sector Success Realize the Benefits of Continuous Process Improvement Trained and qualified personnel are the heart of safe and effective operations, especially for the nuclear mission at the Nevada Test Site (NTS). Previously, our team basically had to recreate programs and processes for each nuclear project, trying to follow multiple procedures for multiple Mike Davis organizations performing nuclear work. Over the Systems Support past 18 months, we’ve integrated National Security Technologies and National Weapons Laboratories NTS-based training, qualification and nuclear certification procedures into a joint training program manual and a single nuclear training implementation matrix. People know where to find answers and that enhances both safety and communication, creating a win-win situation for all NTS customers.
