lcoe Life CyCLe OptimizatiOn and engineering TS Wins Key ID/IQ Contract, Is Poised to Provide Fast-Tracking Aircraft Sustainment orthrop Grumman’s Technical Services sector was one of 12 contractors to receive awards under the Flexible Acquisition and Sustainment Tool (F2AST ID/IQ) program contract, which has a ceiling value of $6.9 billion over 10 years. “Our mission now is to support the Air Force in its worldwide missions with superior performance on F2AST task orders,” said Dave Werkheiser, vice president and general manager of TS’s Life Cycle Optimization and Engineering Group. Program work entails providing development, modification and depot maintenance of any U.S. Air Force system, including support systems, subsystems and components. “Our team brings a wealth of experience to the Air Force,” said Chuck Pritchett, F2AST program manager for Northrop Grumman. “Under this contract vehicle, we’ll provide a broad scope of engineering services and logistics and maintenance support to keep the Air Force flying.” The F2AST ID/IQ contract, scheduled to begin in October, is a follow-on to the F2AST ID/IQ contract awarded by the Air Force in 2001 and ending this year. TS N TS Selected to Provide Contractor Field Team Support orthrop Grumman’s Technical Services sector was chosen as one of eight entities awarded an indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery Contractor Field Teams (CFT) contract to provide worldwide modification, maintenance and repair of U.S. Air Force, Army and Navy weapons systems and support equipment at operational installations in the United States and abroad. CFT has a potential value to TS of more than $1.2 billion over 10 years. “We will bring to our nation’s warfighters—wherever they are—expert capabilities that span a wide spectrum of ground support equipment and heavy combat vehicle maintenance; rotary and fixed-wing aircraft support; and ship and ship system upgrade, maintenance and modification,” said Vic Obringer, director of Enterprise Logistics Management for the sector’s Life Cycle Optimization and Engineering Group.
