Technical Services - Winter 2009 - (Page 3) TS Continues New Business Growth TS awarded Air Force Equipment and Logistics Services Contract ment Group at Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Ga., that will demonstrate an electronic countermeasures pod concept aimed at increasing operational capability along with improving sustainability and reduced life-cycle costs. “Our team was selected not only because of the tremendous enhancements provided by the digital receiver exciter, but also because of our excellent long-standing performance record supporting our customer,” said Kevin Benoit, Northrop Grumman Technical Services program manager for the contract. “We’re excited to provide the warfighter with a critical capability update while also maintaining our role as the life cycle support organization of choice for these pods.” T S T TS broadens ACOTA Program work he U.S. Air Force has awarded TS a contract to provide engineering services to the 542nd Combat Sustain- gency Operations Training and Assistance (ACOTA) contract to provide equipment and logistics services. “Northrop Grumman’s vast capabilities allow us to quickly and efficiently meet the growing needs of the ACOTA program,” said Mike Roberts, Northrop Grumman Technical Services sector’s Training and Simulation Group vice president and general manager. “We are a proud contractor of the ACOTA team, successfully planning and executing over 500 training events and exercises in 14 African partner nations.” T S T he U.S. Department of State has awarded Technical Services a task order under the African Contin- TS personnel assist with the setup and training for Ingersoll-Rand Lighting equipment in Senegal, Africa.
