This committee is responsible for assisting our staff in all aspects of marketing and communications. Arts Alliance The mission of The Arts Alliance is to support efforts to increase participation in arts and cultural activities, strengthen the cultural community and the organizations that provide these programs, thereby ensuring that all citizens benefit from our outstanding cultural resources. Arts and Culture is an important part of the economic vitality of Washtenaw County, contributing $165 million annually in economic impact through direct expenditures and induced spending. Morning Edition Planning Committee – This committee plans our monthly breakfast program featuring five speakers who speak on a variety of community topics for five minutes each. NetWorks! Special Events Planning Committees – These task forces assist in the planning of our annual events, such as the Year Ender party. Speakers Bureau The Speakers Bureau is a directory of Chamber members willing to speak on a variety of topics. The Chamber utilizes its Speakers Bureau when looking for speakers for such programs as Morning Edition, NetWorks!, seminars and workshops.
