It is one of Lansing’s premiere golf scrambles with over 380 participants each year. Cost includes: greens fees & cart, player gift and tickets for lunch, dinner & beverages. The tournament is played in a scramble format with First Place Gross winners at each course awarded a trophy and prize package. This is a great opportunity for members and their guests to network and conduct business in a relaxed, fun environment. :: SPEED NETWORKING! Speed Networking! participants are led through a fastpaced series of introductions where they engage in 20 to 30 one-on-one business conversations by moving from person to person every four minutes. Each program starts with instructions and techniques that allow you to get the most from the networking experience. It’s perfect for anyone who might feel awkward in traditional networking situations or who are looking to meet many people in a short amount of time! Programs are high-energy and guaranteed to be both effective and invigorating! Join in with other small business executives for our lively panel discussions! Lunch and learn programming targeting small to medium sized business executives. Panel of experts discuss real issues and solutions to growing businesses in today’s competitive marketplace. This VIP reception for new local executives is an outstanding opportunity to reach the top community leaders and new local executives. This free event is held quarterly on a needed basis. :: COFFEE WITH COUNSEL Get your morning coffee with expert legal counsel! Learn what every business owner needs to know to stay and keep up with the latest legal issues facing small business owners today. The quarterly series is designed with the small business executive in mind to cover a broad range of legal topics that are relevant to running a business such as employment, financing and HR related issues. :: TASTE OF THE CHAMBER A large scale version of our monthly mixers. This event travels throughout the Lansing Region. The mixer will feature and showcase samplings of the best entrees from 15-20 local restaurants. This event attracts well over 450 attendees. :: MEMBER MIXERS Hosted by Chamber members, Member Mixers are an informal reception giving members the opportunity to network, exchange business cards and stay in tune with the business community. The Mixers are strictly networking with no presentation or speakers and attract more than 100 attendees each month. Mixers are held at various locations on the second Tuesday of the month from 5-7 pm. :: ANNUAL DINNER The Annual Dinner is held in late February and is the Chamber’s largest and most prestigious event, with more than 1,000 attendees. This program includes remarks from the Chamber’s incoming Board Chair, honors the outgoing Chair and board members, followed by the presentation of the prestigious ATHENA and Community Service and Small Business Awards. The dinner and presentations are followed by a nationally recognized speaker or entertainer. :: BOTTOM LINE BREAKFAST If you can’t possibly squeeze another thing into your lunch hour, then join us in the morning for our Bottom Line Breakfast seminars. The BLB series is a professional development program geared for small business executives, and focuses on topics that are critical to the bottom line of any business. :: ANNUAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CELEBRATION An annual celebration of the region with various companies recognized for their contributions to the community through growth and expansion of facilities and/or employees. The event is attended by more than 500 business leaders and is meant to be uplifting and exciting. :: ECONOMIC CLUB OF GREATER LANSING The Economic Club of Greater Lansing features nationally recognized business speakers covering a broad range of business-related topics from economic trends and business success stories to the latest management and leadership techniques. The Economic Club lunches provide an excellent opportunity to network with more than 350 of the area’s top decision makers, including key community, business and university leaders. The Club meets eight times a year. :: LEGISLATIVE BANQUET This premiere legislative event unites Michigan’s local chambers and their key business members and leaders with legislators and state chamber officials for an evening of networking and information.
