This session is a one-on-one interview format presentation with a high-profile corporate executive, government
official, nonprofit leader or celebrity figure with relevance
to STEM. This is an opportunity for attendees to take a
technical dive into industry trends and also learn what it
takes to ascend and thrive in the executive office.
NSBE PROFESSIONALS' AWARDS LUNCHEON
Saturday, March 29
The Professionals' Awards Luncheon will serve as
an opportunity for all six NSBE regions to gather and
acknowledge their new Regional Professional Executive
Boards. Regional and national awards will be presented to
outstanding chapters and members as recognition of their
hard work this year.
EXECUTIVE MENTORING
Thursday, March 27
The Executive Mentoring program exposes technical professionals to executive leaders within their field, allowing
them invaluable one-on-one time to discuss professional
and career development, work-life balance best practices
and any other matters that only an executive can field.
Mentees will provide their resumes and points of concern
for the executive to review. The executive then will discuss several possible solutions for the professionals.
