Marcus Single, 33 DELGADO Senior Product Development Quality Engineer Honeywell Washington PhotoVisions, Inc. Without engineers like Marcus DelGado, airline pilots wouldn’t dare fly. He specializes in aircraft certification and quality assurance, keeping commercial and defense aircraft navigation systems in compliance with FAA rules. The vital systems he’s responsible for include an enhanced ground proximity warning system — a terrain map showing hills and valleys with an audible call out to help pilots maneuver. Marcus is also working on a new data link function utilizing text messaging for communication from the cockpit to the ground station for an added layer of safety.
