NYLON - March 2008 - (Page 44) letter from the editor A BRIEF HISTORY OF TIME As we finish working on this, our Spring Fashion Issue, it’s the end of January, and we’re all gearing up for Fashion Week to see the Fall 2008 collections. It’s always a little disconcerting: Between having to think three months in advance for the magazine and almost a whole year ahead for shows, sometimes we feel like we just don’t know what time or season it is. The good news, though, as you can see in these pages, is that there’s a lot of great stuff to look forward to when the weather starts to warm up, no matter where you are or what you’re doing. We’re also excited about having Rachel Bilson on our cover for the first time—everyone at NYLON has been a fan since her days on The O.C., so we’re happy to see her rocking some of spring’s coolest looks. I had a great time shooting the fashion story on page 178 with my friend Joe Cardamone from the Icarus Line, and Mark the Cobrasnake even turned up to join in the fun.
