This is the first time we’ve done a split cover, and we’re anxious to see which one you like better. It was fun to shoot both Leighton and Blake—separately and together—and, don’t tell anyone, but despite their prickly relationship onscreen they’re pretty good friends in real life. This is our annual Young Hollywood issue, and this time we’ve cast our net wider than ever before, traveling beyond L.A. to New York and London to bring in fresh talent from all over the world. The result is a huge portfolio of up-and-coming actors and actresses, beginning on page 126; and even if you’ve never seen some of their faces before, you’ll definitely be seeing them in the future. We’ve also been busy planning our upcoming music tour with Be Your Own Pet (who you can read about on page 100), She Wants Revenge, the Virgins, and Switches. It starts May 8th, and will most likely be coming to your city (it’s stopping at 36 venues throughout the U.S. and Canada)—so be sure to keep checking nylonmag.com for updates.
